Gastroenterologist
Dr. Melanie Burgos earned her Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University and went on to receive her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean. She completed her postgraduate training in Internal Medicine with Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She then pursued specialized training in Transplant Hepatology and Gastroenterology at NYU Langone Health and CarePoint Health, where she was appointed Chief Fellow. She is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Burgos offers comprehensive care in all aspects of gastrointestinal health and performs a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. She currently practices with the Gastroenterology Group of Northern New Jersey, with offices in Englewood and Englewood Cliffs. Dr. Burgos is affiliated with Englewood Hospital and participates in the Bloodless Medicine Program.
