Overview

Dr. Eugene Han received his Bachelors degree in biology from Johns Hopkins University, his Master degree in public health from Rutgers UMDNJ School of Public Health, and his Medical Doctorate degree from Rutgers UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and his fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the State University of New York Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. He is currently board-certified in Internal Medicine and licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey.

Dr. Han joined the Gastroenterology Group of Northern New Jersey in 2018, and is currently an attending physician on the medical staff of Englewood Hospital Medical Center and Holy Name Medical Center. He treats patients with a wide variety of gastrointestinal and liver disorders and performs many endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy (EGD), video capsule endoscopy, and gastrostomy tube (PEG) placement. He is a member of the American College of Gastrenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is a participating physician in the Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Program at Englewood Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Han is bilingual and speaks fluent Korean.
