Gastroenterologist
Dr. Marc A. Fiorillo received his B.S. with honors from Binghamton University and earned his M.D. with honors from Chicago Medical School in 2001. He also concurrently earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Pathology. He completed his Internship, Residency and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. He subsequently completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship training at the same institution, earning an award for Excellence in Teaching. He is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, and licensed to practice in both the state of New Jersey and the state of New York.
Dr. Fiorillo joined Advanced Gastroenterology of Bergen County in 2008. While proficient in all procedural and clinical aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, he has a particular interest in pancreatic disorders and performs endoscopic ultrasound with fine needle aspiration. He also performs fecal microbial transplantation for patients with recurrent or refractory C. difficile infection. Dr. Fiorillo is a current member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the New Jersey Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Society, of which he is a past President. He is a participating provider in the Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Program at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
