Noah Mahpour, MD

Overview

Dr. Noah Mahpour received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology from Yeshiva University in New York, NY, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and received The Samuel and Emily Granet Lemler Memorial Award for Excellence in Pre-Medical Studies. He received his Medical Doctorate degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ, being nominated to the AOA Honor Medical Society. He went on to serve as Academic Chief Resident and Attending Physician there, where he was awarded The Excellence in Teaching Award from the Department of Internal Medicine. He completed his fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, NY. He is currently board-certified in Internal Medicine and licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey and New York.

Dr. Mahpour treats a wide variety of gastrointestinal disease, and performs endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy (EGD), among other standard procedures. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and New York Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. He has published multiple manuscripts and book chapters on various topics within the fields of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
